速聴の効果を説明しますね。
リスニング能力を上げるには速聴が一番有効なのですが、これはどっかの自己啓発本に書いてある、１０倍速とか５０倍速とかいう馬鹿げた超速ではなく、あくまでも聞き取れる限界の速さか、それよりも少しだけ速いだけの速度で聴くということです。
そのためには、CDを一度PCに焼く必要があるのですが・・・。
この場合の速聴とは、およそ、１．２倍速から２倍速程度と考えていいでしょう。
１０倍速や５０倍速で聴くと理解力があがるなんていう魔法みたいな方法は存在しませんからね。
地道に、市販のCDを焼いて、１．２倍から徐々に、１．４倍、１．６倍・・・と上げていくのです。
２倍速で理解できたらどんな状況にも対応できるリスニング力がついているでしょう。
うえに紹介したCNNのテキストを２倍速で理解できたらTOEICのリスニング部門はほぼ満点とれるといって良いでしょう。
実際にはTOEICのリスニングはとれもキレイな発音で雑音や癖もなく聴くのに苦は無いと思います。むしろ、TOEICのリスニングが満点でも映画の会話が聴き取れないこともある。

If you can understand what spoken in the CNN CD I recommened in 2 times faster speed without any trouble, you could do without any trouble with the TOEIC test.
